After battery is installed and turned on the control box, it will say "Game Start". When one side of the fencer scores, his/her vest and mask will lights up, and the control box will have the sound. Each hit will trigger one line of LED lights. When score the fifth time, the control box will say "Game Over" and the lights will shut off. You will need to turn off the control box and turn back on again for the next bout.
